TJ Hamilton was delighted to win an Award at Cookstown District Council’s Annual Civic Awards Ceremony held at the Burnavon Arts & Cultural Centre, Cookstown.  They received their Award for outstanding contribution to the Cookstown district and were exceptionally pleased to be recognised for their hard work and business success.

TJ Hamilton has been operational in the Cookstown area for over 30 years, and the Council recognised that throughout these years the Company has provided employment and maintained an economic stability for the town.  The Council therefore wished to recognise TJ Hamilton’s contribution and also acknowledge their recent achievement in winning the Volkswagen Sales Management Excellence Awards for 2008.  

This Excellence Award was open to all Volkswagen Retailers in the UK and TJ Hamilton were the overall winners in the Volkswagen UK network.  Criteria used to select the overall winners were sales performance, customer satisfaction results and afterservice care for customers. 

TJ Hamilton’s Dealer Principal, Mr Paul McGurk was overwhelmed with the result and commented “We were absolutely delighted with this achievement and I want to personally say a huge thank you to Campbell Stewart, Sales Manager who has driven the business forward with outstanding sales performance.  We are measured by Volkswagen on our Customer Satisfaction and regularly receive mystery shops and our results have been excellent.  I also want to thank each member of the Sales team who were a big part of this overall result” concluded Paul.   

Campbell Stewart received the Award on behalf of TJ Hamilton and was delighted to be invited to the Council’s Award Ceremony.

Campbell explained “It’s a great honour to receive this Award and I want to thank the Council for their recommendation.”  Campbell continued “It was very pleasing to win the Overall Excellence Award and be recognised for our efforts.  We are committed to looking after our customers and ensuring they receive value for money as well as offering a friendly and personal service.  We are all very enthusiastic about the Brand and I think that speaks for itself.”
