Receptionist/Showroom Host

An opportunity has arisen for the position of Receptionist to assist in the day-to-day running of a busy Reception and Showroom and provide high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a full time position and is based in Cookstown.

Hours of Work 8.45 – 5.30

Job Responsibilities:

Meets and greets visitors, welcoming and directing to the appropriate department, maintaining high showroom and waiting area standards, directing all customers appropriately; notifies company personnel of any visitor arrivals; maintaining phone systems.

Receptionist Job Duties:

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring enquiries.
  • Maintains telephone system by following companies instructions for phone and console operations.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception and waiting areas by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Receptionist Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of working within Reception
  • Good telephone skills
  • Good verbal communication
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Listening

With high standards of professionalism and personal presentation, you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Committed to customer excellence you will need to be positive, flexible and able to work calmly under pressure. Computer literacy is essential.
