Motor Vehicle Technician – Join the T J Hamilton & Co Team!
We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our well-established and reputable workshop at T J Hamilton & Co.

Your Role Will Include:

Performing vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard

Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment

Repairing and replacing electrical and mechanical components

Carrying out road tests to ensure quality of work

Adhering to all health and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For:

NVQ Level 3 qualification (Level 4 preferred) or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance

Solid experience in diagnostics, servicing, MOT preparation, and general repairs
-
Strong understanding of electrical systems and diagnostic tools

Competent with IT systems and modern vehicle technologies
-
A full UK driving licence is essential
What We Offer:

Salary: £28,000 – £40,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)

Ongoing Manufacturer Training – including the opportunity to progress toward Volkswagen Master Technician status through training at the VW National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
